So I have only 3 weeks till the end of the semester, 4 weeks till finals. All I have to say is this.
BRING. IT. ON.

So ready to be done. Doing pretty well this semester, just hope I can finish all my projects and papers in time.

For the summer: I got accepted into Washington state's Friday Harbor Laboratories summer research program!!!!
I'll be working with Dr Joe Sisneros in his lab, working on the plainfin midshipman fish and conducting research on its auditory communication and behavior. Should be a blast, and something new that I haven't had a lot of experience in before. For that, I will be leaving on June 17th and won't be back until August 10th. They cover round trip airfare, room, board, and $250 of research supplies. I also get paid $2000 for the summer [was hoping to make more this summer, but oh well, you can't have it all.] I've heard a lot of good things about the program, and I've never been on the west coast before, so I can't wait

Also -- I'll be able to go to Animazement again this year Super excited about that. Hoping to sell keychains/phone charms, I'll post pics of my idea once I start them.

I have a lot of cool art projects I'd like to do, and I'm going to try to start some of them after I get out of school on May 3rd. Some of it involves chibi drawings, others involve more clay figures. Let's just say, my hands have been too idle this semester and I'm itching to get back into my art stuffs.

In other news.....still haven't read the last book of the Wheel of Time series, planning on reading that and my Jack London collection over the summer. That, and watching more Doctor Who. God, I love that show. Maybe I'll start watching Merlin as well....we'll see
